Dr. Étienne Léger is a postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School under the joint supervision of Dr. Alexandra Golby and Dr. Sarah Frisken. Prior to joining the Golby lab, he completed a PhD in Computer Science at Concordia University with a focus on augmented reality and low-cost hardware integration in neurosurgery. Dr. Léger develops and tests new features of NousNav, and serves as liaison between the development team and clinical testers of the system. He believes NousNav will help democratize higher quality healthcare and is enthusiastic about building tools that can help improve patient outcomes.
